Using the integrated widget

Upload the document or file to a remote storage site of your choice, such as Google Drive, Onedrive, Dropbox, and make sure it is published so that anyone with the link can view it. For the example below we're using Google Drive as our repository.

Get Link > Anyone with the link > Viewer > Copy link

Copy the provided link, and make sure that it is correctly configured with Public viewing access; otherwise users may see an error message when viewing the file.

The link from Google Drive must have /view?usp=sharing replaced with /preview at the end of the link.

In the website editor, insert a Section of the PDF Widget type.

Click on the PDF-Widget and and select Edit Widget.

In the Menu that should pop up in the right hand side of the screen you should be able to find a file URL bar in which you paste in the url you got from Gdrive etc.

Manual embed using HTML

You are better able to control the user experience by manually embedding the file into your website.

Locate the file in Google Drive, Onedrive, Dropbox, and Open the file in a new tab or window > Click on the three horizontal dots ••• and select Embed Item.

Here you'll be presented with an HTML code that you copy and paste as HTML into a Section. Copy the HTML code and ind insert it into your section using the built in system shortcuts of your operating system.

The Width / Height parameters of the code controls the corresponding measurements of the file when inserted onto your site. Many simply choose to set the width to `width="100%"´ to get the document scaled to the full width of the website.
